Spencer stands a little taller when he says the Pledge of Allegiance. We are so proud of him as he learns and grows. It is these little moments that make it all so wonderful.

Outdoor World deer target

Sometimes the kids get too excited about things in the stores we visit. This time at Arundel Mills in MD. we visited the Outdoor World and the kids fell in love with the 'reigndeer' target and almost made it fall too!

Here in the Washington, DC area we are seeing the trees begin to "spring" to new life. It makes for an exciting time for pictures and getting out of the house.

All Hands In for Dessert!

Since we were using a Restaurant.com coupon I decided to splurge for some chocolate lava cake.

The cake was warm and filled with a chocolate gonache? check spelling... Of course with two adults and two kids the shared dessert went fast! Everybody enjoyed it though and all but licked the plate clean. We figured that wouldn't be good to do in a fancy hotel restaurant.

Bedtime Story With Mommy

We don't always get the time or take the time rather, but our kids love a good bedtime story. Tonight's story was of Lightning Mcqueen and Tow Mater.
Doctors say that reading to and with our kids is good for their development and vocabulary. We like to share and it's fun to watch their interest build for every story!
